After completing this module students will be expected to have
1. Researched the background and literature relating to a practical problem involving the application of computer science and/or engineering.
2. Designed, implemented and evaluated a solution to the problem according to appropriate computer science and/or engineering principles.
3. Written a dissertation about their investigation.
4. Given an oral presentation, answered questions about the project, and given a demonstration of their implementation.
5. Demonstrated the use of appropriate project management tools to organise and prioritise the various tasks involved in producing both the solution and the report.
