This module will introduce you to several fundamental debates in psycholinguistics, all of which are ongoing and continue to drive current research. The goal in introducing these debates is to teach you how to engage with debates in the field, and in particular how to link experimental results with predictions from theory. As such this module will draw heavily on critical thinking skills and both deductive and inductive logic. At the end of the module you will be able to be an informed participant in these debates and situate your own work within broader theories and frameworks in linguistics and psychology.
