This module builds upon students' understanding of typical communication from year one of the degree programme; it introduces students to the observation and assessment of acquired communication difficulties. Students will be introduced to formal and informal identification techniques and helped to develop professional reasoning skills with which to interpret their observations. A Biopsychosocial approach will be taken, enabling students to understand communication difficulties from a range of perspectives.
