Can I use PowerPoint's live subtitling in a Zoom Room?
This was suggested as a useful tool to use in a live lecture, however a specific version of PowerPoint is required and AVS provided this information about that: In regards to the Office 365 & associated plugins, we are looking into deploying this for teaching space PC’s, however have had to push it back to (Approximately) December, due to ongoing work commitments. You may be able to get this version of PowerPoint on your own PC at home by logging into Microsoft 365 webmail and clicking the app selector (top left) and choosing Office 365 to download the latest version – IT Helpdesk can help with this. [On this tool – please note the subtitles are added live and are not editable and cannot be removed from a session that was also recorded by Zoom. Once in Panopto this will also add captions.]
