This module builds on the knowledge acquired by students in LG110-4-AU reinforcing the cognitive aspect of spoken language, the way in which sounds combine to make up words and the interaction between word formation and phonology and phonology in the wider context of phrases. Additional theoretical machinery introduced can be of use in the analysis of other languages.
