This module provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional working environment and to reflect critically and analytically on their experiences to inform their future employment aspirations

Placement
During the course of year two it will be decided by a process of discussion and consulation between tutor and student exactly where your strengths lie. In discussion with you, your tutor will suggest different styles of placements appropriate to your individual strengths. This process will begin during Term Three of the second year and will link to Industry in Context 2.

Using the knowledge and contacts within the Technical Department, students will be supported in identifying and finding their own placements. These placements will take place in Term One or Term Two of Year Three. You may be required to supply a curriculum vitae and may be interviewed by the placement provider.
