This module introduces students to the anatomy and pathophysiology of the human body with direct reference to sports therapy practice. The module will cover the appendicular and axial anatomy, cardio-vascular-pulmonary anatomy and physiology, integumentary, peripheral and central nervous system anatomy and physiology. The common pathophysiological sporting disorders associated with the systems will be considered. Students will be introduced to relevant examination and assessment techniques.
