If you are a current student and need access to resources on Moodle during this outage please refer to the Moodle 2014-2015 archive. Get in touch with the IT Helpdesk ( or phone ext. 2345) if you have any trouble accessing the archive.

Upgrading to the latest version of software means that we can keep up-to-date with the latest features and security updates. Moodle 3.1 allows for categorization and searching of activities, users and resources through tags, supports competency-based learning, contains new question types and many other features. Version 16.04 of the Mahara E-Portfolio supports tagging and open badges as well as many other enhancements to help improve your e-portfolio.

This course goes into more details about the new features available in Moodle. It includes a section covering features for system administrators which you might want to skip unless you want a look under the hood.
